Integrative psychotherapy recognises the complexity of human experience and approaches the person as a whole, in which thought, emotion, the body, relationships and the social environment are in constant interaction.
By bringing together different psychotherapeutic theories and methods, it seeks a many-sided understanding of the person, with respect for the uniqueness of their personal story and their particular needs.
In my own practice, the therapeutic relationship holds a central place. I consider it important to create a safe and stable setting in which each person can express themselves freely, explore their experiences and approach sides of themselves with greater understanding.
The therapeutic process takes shape through collaboration, respect for each person’s own pace and recognition of their uniqueness.
