Therapeutic approach

Integrative psychotherapy is a comprehensive therapeutic approach, based on the recognition that human experience is multidimensional and goes beyond the limits of any single theoretical perspective.

What it is

Integrative psychotherapy

Drawing on elements from different psychotherapeutic schools, it seeks to create a coherent therapeutic framework that responds to each person’s particular needs, personal story and difficulties.

This integration is not a simple coexistence of different techniques, but a genuine effort to connect theoretical ideas and therapeutic practices, centred on the person as a whole.

The person as a whole

Beyond the symptoms

Every person is shaped by the continuous interaction of psychological, bodily, interpersonal and social factors. Their thoughts, emotions, experiences, relationships and environment are different yet interconnected dimensions of their existence.

In integrative psychotherapy, understanding difficulties is not limited to recognising and treating symptoms. It also explores the personal meaning they may carry, and how they connect with the person’s history and experiences.

The therapeutic process takes each person’s uniqueness into account, recognising that similar difficulties can be experienced differently and take on a different meaning from one person to another.

At the core

The importance of the therapeutic relationship

At the core of the psychotherapeutic process lies the relationship between therapist and client — a relationship that develops gradually, through consistency, trust, respect and acceptance.

Within a stable and confidential setting, the client can express thoughts and feelings, explore personal difficulties and approach experiences that may not have been easy to work through in the past.

The therapeutic relationship is not merely the setting in which therapy takes place; it can itself become a space for understanding, recognising and working through relational patterns.

Every therapeutic journey takes shape through collaboration and respect for each person’s own pace, needs and possibilities.

The first step

A space for your own story

The decision to begin psychotherapy is a personal process, and it may come with thoughts, questions or hesitations.
